Because of your generosity, youth in our neighborhoods can discover making, entrepreneurship, and the realization of their dreams at The Foundry.
Every year, students and young adults find success in hands-on skill building, digital literacy through computer-assisted design, manufacturing workforce placements, and entrepreneurship in our 4 makerspaces.
In 2022, The Foundry served over 200 students, of which 80% were from low-income families & households, and paid youth over $10,000 in student stipends for participating in our programs.
William Foster, a 19 year old student, has excelled through The Foundry pathway from building and getting paid through FOUNDRYmade, to innovating in the Youth Entrepreneurship Program, and now currently enrolled in The Foundry's Making + Manufacturing program on a track towards certification and a manufacturing career placement.
"The programs at The Foundry made me more confident in having conversations with people. It's made me more confident with working with tools, and most important... making me more confident as a person."
You can help kids like Will find their confidence, sense of belonging, and belief that they can accomplish anything. We plan to increase our youth program offerings in 2023, and your support can help get us there. Your investment today guarantees that The Foundry continues directly paying and uplifting students - remaining a place of inspiration, innovation, and opportunity for this next generation of makers.
Together, we thank you!
THANK YOU!
