President - Sarah Fonzi
Sarah Fonzi is a local artist that has studied and worked in various cities around the world. She studied both Sculpture and Museum Studies at Savannah College of Arts and Design and has continued working in these fields for local non-profit organizations for the past 7 years.
Vice President - Russ Reinagel
Russ has a dual degree in Plumbing and Heating and electrical controls/instrumentation from Delhi State. He has owned and operated Royal Oaks Design and Remodeling for 27 years, specializing in kitchens, bathrooms and custom woodwork. He has owned and managed 30 residential units and is the current owner of Courts and More, a tennis court resurfacing company.
Secretary - Nadine Powell
Nadine works in Business Development at EWI (Buffalo Manufacturing Works). Prior to her work with EWI, she worked as
the Senior Director of Economic Development at Buffalo Niagara Partnership. She has a degree in International Business from D’Youville College and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SUNY Buffalo.
Treasurer - Scott Cassety
Scott Cassety has 30+ years of experience in general business and financial management. He is owner and manager of Advanced Storage, Inc and has been extremely involved in the WNY entrepreneurial community through Launch NY, Buffalo Angels and WNYVA among other things. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Economics and has past experience serving as treasurer in other non-profit organizations.
Member - Matt Lehner
Matt works for CoachMePlus. Matt volunteers on a regular basis for any tech-related programming.
Member - Lonnie Barlow
Lonnie works as Communications Director at PUSH Buffalo. In addition to his experience in social media and marketing, Lonnie is a practicing musician, runs the monthly Roc da Mic series at The Foundry and teaches for Young Audiences of WNY.
Member - David Stebbins
David Stebbins has many years of experience and education in Environmental Science, Environmental Design and City
and Regional Planning. He is currently the Executive Vice President for the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation and
teaches as an Assistant Professor at University of Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning.
Member - R. Maxwell Anderson
Max Anderson works as Director of Communications at Open Buffalo. Prior to Open Buffalo, he spent 10 yrs in the
newspaper industry. Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French as well as a master’s in
Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse
Member - Tamara Lewis
Tamara Z. Lewis is the Chief Administrative Officer for Erie County Chiropractic and a licensed mortuary scientist. She is also the Founder and CEO of The Zandra Grande, a business management consultant company that provides services to small businesses from medical practices to restaurants alike; moreover, she is the President of Zandra by Azariah's Innocence, LLC, a natural skin care product line with her 14 year old Founder and CEO daughter Zandra.
Executive Director - Megan McNally
Megan is the co-founder of The Foundry and Net Positive. She graduated Barnard College in 2010 with a degree in
Environmental Policy and moved back to Buffalo to run a woodworking business from 2011-2014. She has been the
recipient of Women Who Move The City Award, BizJournal's 30 under 30 Award, as well as Protege of The Year from University at Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Education Coordinator - Tamera Knight
Tamera is a VISTA member who started her term of service in February 2016. Her responsibilities include development
of adult and youth education programs and coordination of volunteers for the organization. Since last year she has
successfully launched youth programs in collaboration with Health Sciences Charter School and Baker Victory Services
as well as a 10 week adult woodworking program.
