WHAT IS FOUNDRYMADE?
FOUNDRYmade is a social enterprise committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities for youth and young adults. While fabricating products in The Foundry's makerspaces, participants develop a valuable toolkit of techniques and life skills that will equip them for the future world of work. We're making projects like bookshelves and bike racks for our community partners!

CAN I SIGN UP AS A PARTICIPANT?
We work with students who are enrolled in our current programs or who are recommended by partner organizations we work with. Unfortunately, we are not able to work with individuals who do not have a direct connection with our programs or program partners. If you do have a young adult who might be able to benefit (or are a young adult yourself) - reach out and we'll start a conversation about options.
CAN I HIRE FOUNDRYmade?
Yes - we only take on a limited number of projects every year, so please fill out our Community Projects Survey. Not only do you get something made, it also helps our participants learn skills that will equip them for the future world of work.
WHERE CAN I BUY FOUNDRYmade PRODUCTS?
Right now, our products are sold mostly at markets and online. Catch us at places like Allen West Festival, Garden Art Sale, etc. Take a look at our online shop as well! As we continue to grow this social enterprise, we expect you'll find our products in multiple stores in the region as well!
WHAT ARE SOME PAST PROJECTS?
We've made benches, tables and art sculptures for The Buffalo Central Terminal. Little libraries for former Poet Laureate Jillian Hanesworth. Bookshelves for BlackBoysReadToo.
