  • Visit our VolunteerWNY page to see if there is a work day is scheduled. These work days are essential for maintaining the facilities at The Foundry, and they provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to our community while gaining valuable "on-the-job" experience. We especially encourage volunteers with construction experience to apply!

  • The Foundry is looking for skilled makers interested in supervising our shared makerspaces. Responsibilities will include spreading enthusiasm for making, giving people advice on their projects when they ask and helping people stay safe while using our makerspaces. Volunteer supervisors are granted complimentary access to use our makerspaces during Open Maker Hours in return for volunteering. We are seeking makers skilled in wood, metal, tech or textile.   • We're looking for business owners who are looking to help other small businesses succeed.

  • Volunteer Coordinator: We have numerous volunteer opportunities and need someone to help us keep everything organized. If you enjoy working with people and love staying organized, please volunteer some time to assist us.

    • Media/Marketing: Help us get the word out about The Foundry!

    • Photography/Videographers: Create stock photography and capture inspiring footage for our marketing materials.

    • Website/Social Media: Help us engage with those interested in The Foundry and all that we have to offer.
