President - Trina Burruss
Trina Burruss is a dynamic community leader, experienced banking professional, and a true Buffalo booster! Recently, Trina was named Regional Vice President and Community Relationship Officer of Northwest Bank. In her role, Trina develops relationships with community organizations, small businesses and local cultural groups to help Northwest reach the diverse group of communities that Northwest serves within the New York area.
Vice President - Russ Reinagel
Russ Reinagel has a dual degree in Plumbing and Heating and electrical controls/instrumentation from Delhi State. He has owned and operated Royal Oaks Design and Remodeling for 27 years, specializing in kitchens, bathrooms and custom woodwork. He has owned and managed 30 residential units and is the current owner of Courts and More, a tennis court resurfacing company.
Secretary - Kevin Zanner
Kevin Zanner is a partner at Hurwitz & Fine, P.C. He leads the firm’s economic development practice group and is a member of the firm’s management team. Kevin is a Buffalo native and a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and the University at Buffalo Law School.
Treasurer - Scott Cassety
Scott Cassety has 30+ years of experience in general business and financial management. He is owner and manager of Advanced Storage, Inc and has been extremely involved in the WNY entrepreneurial community through Launch NY, Buffalo Angels and WNYVA among other things. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Economics and has past experience serving as treasurer in other non-profit organizations.
Development Committee Chair - Jamila Lee
Jamila Lee received her BA from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She then graduated from SUNY at Buffalo Law School with her Juris Doctor. Some of her legal experience includes insurance defense, real property law, wills, trusts and estates. Currently, she is the Deputy Chief Clerk of Erie County Surrogate’s Court where she serves as an attorney and manager. Jamila is also an Associate Broker and a proud member of the Sokody Sales Team of HUNT Real Estate ERA. Jamila was inspired to become a board member because she believes wholeheartedly in the mission of the Foundry and loves the opportunities/resources offered to our community.
Member - Craig Dunn
Craig Dunn is a CTE Welding Instructor at Burgard Vocational High School with over 15 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. He is focused on delivering student-centered instruction to close knowledge and skills gaps particularly in digital fabrication and makerspaces. Prior to working as an instructor, Dunn was a Sheet Metal Journeyman with Local 71 Sheet Metal Workers Union where he performed installation of HVAC infrastructure at newly constructed facilities such as Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Riverbend/SolarCity and New Era Field. He served in the United States Navy and holds welding certificates, a teaching certificate and a degree in business administration.
Member - Wilbert R. Green
Wilbert R Green is the Director of School and Community Partnerships at Canisius College. He holds a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and a Bachelors in English/Secondary Education. Prior to his position with Canisius, he served as Community Schools East Zone Leader for Say Yes to Education Buffalo. Green has a diverse professional experience that provides insight and direction on educational practice & policy, youth development & programming, job readiness & skill development, and coaching & development of staff. His commitment to collaboration has brought extensive community resources from Higher Education, Banking Partners, and Health Management Organizations to support health and wellness, social emotional development, and STEM programming within the public-school system and East Side Community.
Member - Matt Lehner
Matt Lehner works for CoachMePlus and volunteers with the makerspace and youth programming at the organization. He is actively engaged in the STEAM programming at The Foundry and assists with any technological problems the organization may have.
Member - Andrew Schwartz
Andrew Schwartz is Director of Marketing for Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation. He has over 25 years of experience delivering corporate messages and ideas through presentations, print, broadcast, transit & digital advertising, social media, direct mail, special events, & grassroots programs. Prior to Ciminelli, Mr. Schwartz served as Director of Marketing for Snyder Corp., where he was responsible for the coordination of marketing and PR related to businesses including E.B. Green’s Steakhouse, Beaver Hollow Conference Center, and Buffalo Conference Center. His professional and community activities include: Leadership Buffalo Essentials, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training & Skills For Success and board member for the Sandy Beach Park Club. Mr. Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Communications from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY.

Shantelle Patton is Founder and Owner of That Brown Bag, Buffalo's Original and only Better Business Bureau Accredited Minority Business Directory. It is a comprehensive resource of Black & Brown owned business in and around the town. She also works as an Intake Specialist at Freedom Care.
