Upcoming Classes at The Foundry
You can become part of our community and help us empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and makers. By taking a class at The Foundry, you are not only supporting the small businesses in residence to continue to grow and prosper, but your class fees also assist in funding our youth programs!
Makerspaces for All - Open Maker Hours
Mondays 6:00-9:00pm | Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm
The Foundry's makerspaces are used by hundreds of students, entrepreneurs and community groups every year for a wide range of educational, small business and neighborhood needs. In addition to regularly scheduled programming, we have Open Maker Hours where you can come to learn more and use tools for your projects!

For Highschool Age Youth (9-12th grade)
Making & Manufacturing Workforce Development Program
For Out-of-school Young Adults (ages 18-25)
Mondays through Thursdays
September 26th - December 22nd 2022
Program Time: 12:30-3:30pm
In this training program at The Foundry, students ages 18-25 learn about using tools for small-batch manufacturing, computer assisted design and machining (metal fabrication, CO2 lasers, 3d printers, CNCs). Students who complete the program successfully qualify as Certified Manufacturing Associates (a ToolingU-SME certification). Graduates of the program select a 4 week long paid internship placement at a partnering manufacturing company.
